The Luciano remix of ‘Love Dose’, Argy’s debut on Poker Flat, turned out to be one of 2005’s biggest minimal tunes. Now the London based Greek is dropping the follow-up. ‘Night Ritual’ is well produced and slightly creepy, a gentle groove that turns into an eerie trip, the type of minimal that bites. ‘Poke Her Flat’ is as tight as a clock’s ticking whilst ‘Cry Like A Girl’ is equally abstract, full of expressive noises and sounds that seem to have come to life in a dark electronic laboratory.
