Bit of a change for Glasgowâs finest Soma. ’23 Minutes In Brussels’ is a song that originally saw the light of day courtesy of a band called Luna, who were inspired by an infamous Suicide gig in Brussels, which surprise surprise ended in a riot (no change there then). So as youâd expect My Robot Friend’s version of ’23 Minutes In Brussels’ does sound like an Alan Vega & Martin Rev production, only it’s got a twist, the vocals sound like Ian Brown, which believe it or not works a treat. Suicidal Stone Monkey anyone.
