Hailing !from Oregon, Portland, Yard aka Chris Jones likes his techno groovy and playful as demonstrated in (main track) ‘Workeet’. That’s not to say he can’t get introspective. ‘Deepbeast’ is very much that, a deeep beat and some pads, ‘IX’ starts off with a great panning effect on the beat and develops a mysterious mood punctuated by a chilled-out break.
