Newcomer Markowski combines imaginative soundscapes and cinematic moods with serious funk. Much dancefloor appeal here, think futuristic breaks with a robotic angle, abstract and spooky enough to trigger curiosity. ‘The Madness Of Moths’ and ‘False Flag’ particularly sound as exciting as the Tiefschwarz sound from three years ago, fresh, eventful structures that take you down unexpected routes.
