Slovenia’s Astrodisco movement gains steam with a second outing from DJs Bizzy and Krizs. Both have formidable cvs in the country’s firing electronic dance scene. Bizzy has played with the big boys like Mills and Hawtin, was in the Temponauts and participates in Ourobots, Dataminions, Unizzon, Helga Neuer and live house band Rotor. Krizs resided at Sub Sub, now K4 and is part of Pro Grass Crew. Both are founders of Umek’s Astrodisco movement. The original is simple, dirty electro riffs slashed with bleeps and noises before Robert Babicz hotwires stiffy-riffs and douses it in eerie resonances plus what sounds like an electronic trombone. Bonus track ‘DMO’ recalls a nastier Erasure electro-scape. Healthy scene going on here.
