It’s only natural to find Rex The Dog back remixing The Knife. After all it was his boppy reinterpretation of ‘Heartbeats’ which turned this beauty into a rallying dancefloor anthem and broke the Swedish siblings in clubs. On ‘Marble House’ London’s fave electro pet does a great job again, bringing classic status to this sing-a-long hymn. After his third Kompakt single ‘Maximize’ (a nod at minimal surely) and his amazingly poptastic remix of The Sounds’ ‘Tony The Beat’, the freshest (electro) hip-house number to hit clubs in years, it seems Rex is on top form. Other mixes from the likes of hot shots Booka Shade and Emperor Machine are good too but nowhere as engaging.
