Yes, this is a spin-off of Lotterboys, involving Princess Superstar, Fetisch, Baxter Wilderbeast & Andme, as they take the excess out electro-punk, take it for a night out, then return it not a little the worse for wear. There’s shades of early 80’s New York punk married to the acid sleaze of a 303 being baked in a microwave. The remixes from Headman (Lil Louis’ Original Video Clash given a mental industrial breakdown) and Shameboys (cool Italo stylings with a fabulous overload of twittering synth lines) continue the fun sense of decadence. “9 Inch Spaghetti Jack” is essentially Yello remodelled by your favourite Chicago house DJ – albeit a very, very dark Yello. Hugely recommended for when the party needs taking up a notch or ten.
