Lifted off Sytem 7’s forthcoming album ‘Phoenix’ new single ‘Space Bird’ was
conceived with Jam El Mar. The result? A pumping atmospheric house tune that
indeed recalls those trippier Jam & Spoon moments. In the remix seat Dubfire
turns out an epic minimal-ish proggy monster that meanders for ages kinda
like if you were lost in K hole with dolphins wailing in the background.
Liquid Soul cheer things up a bit by staying closer to Hillage & Giraudy’s
original, adding a chuggy groove to the vibey guitar improvisations (always
the Gongman’s trademark).
