You might recall David Bozwell once a member of Hiem (releasese on Eskimo, Crosstown Rebels). A character with distinctive vocals and occasional poetic lyrics as only Sheffield can spit out regularly. Here he gets welcomed on Kompakt’s label Firm for a couple of deep minimal-ish tech-house trax that don’t fail to include his trademark vibey spoken vocals – it sures pays to try something a bit different. Remixed by Dirk Leyers ‘Fiona’s Song’ goes even deeper and slightly darker.
