Back To Mine with Patrice Scott

Late night grooving at the best after parties in town…

1. Ramsey Lewis – Brazilica
My perfect chilldown track when i just want to relax and feel soothed. Ramsey Lewis is one of my favorite jazz artist of all time. Soulful, beautiful, vibes!!!

2. James Mason – Sweet Power
James Mason only made one album which came out in 1977. When I discovered this gem it never came off my turntables at home. Highly recommended!

3. Herbie Hancock – Sun Touch
This entire album is dope because Herbie used alot of funk-based rhythms around the hi-hats and snare drums on most of the tracks.

4. Roy Ayers – Liquid Love
How can one not love this, Roy Ayers is the master of the vibes.

5. Ronnie Jordan – After Hours
Smooth, jazz flavors from Ronnie Jordan that became a R&B hit back in the 90’s. The perfect come down after a night of house and techno.

6. Joe Sample – Ashes to Ashes
Joe Sample is one of the greatest to every play the Piano/Keyboard. Pure bliss!!!

7. John Coltrane – Equinox
John Coltrane was a serious blues/jazz player and this track is no exception.

8. Kool and the Gang – Summer Madness
The title of this track fits the music perfectly. Such a beautiful composition full of emotion and continuity.

9. Bill Withers – Love
Bill Withers was the master of mellowness and introspective lyrics. This is one of my favorites that never seems to get old even though it is 37 years old.

10. Grover Washington Jr. – Mister Magic
The smooth saxophone style of Mr. Washington is timeless. R&Bish jazz style at its best and perfect for any occasion.
