I didn’t get to attend as many parties throughout the week as I would have hoped, due to preparations for my own shows and the upcoming Scream 2 Bus Tour that takes place throughout April. If I could make a biased choice, I would say my open to close solo set at Space on the Thursday. Space is such a special venue for me, as my nights there as a weekly resident were so important in beginning my legacy internationally. So for me, playing at Space meant so much more than just a homecoming. I had family there, friends who have supported me for more than a decade, and so many fans who flew in from across the United States and internationally to be part of the experience. Solo sets are where I can fully showcase the entire spectrum of my sound and take people on a journey, and I was so grateful to be able to do it during Winter Music Conference.

I was on planes for almost 24 hours on the opening night of WMC, flying into Miami from Hong Kong. I came straight from the airport to support the crew at Dream, who were hosting the annual Coldharbour Night, and I was so proud of them. KhoMha’s set blew me away. He was hiding a few gems from me that he debuted in his set, and I immediately had to get them off him when he finished! It’s always so much fun to go to those shows as a fan and clubber, as well as having the chance to hang out with everyone.

The moment where Nothing Without Me played and everyone nearly blew the roof off with how loud they sang along. Genuine goosebump moment. I still can’t believe how deeply the track has resonated with the fans, especially considering it’s about a stalker. I don’t know whether that’s flattering or worrying!

Hands down…no contest – Deep Dish. Holy CRAP! I think I speak for everyone who attended this magical night when I say that was a night to remember. One of the best sets I’ve heard in my life. So incredible…just thinking about it I get chills! They are SO back and it was great to see.
