Brand new three dayer hits Ibiza

Ibiza 123 FestivalBig news leaking out of the white isle concerning a brand new (and well needed!) festival hitting Ibiza this Summer. Running over July 1st – 3rd, this three day, 20,000 capacity event which is already the talk of the island, will take place on the stretch of waste land behind Cafe Mambo in San Antonio. The event is being organised by Live Nation and the IMS team and are bringing together a huge blend of rock and dance stars. Already confirmed are Lenny Kravitz, Sting, Tinie Tempah, Axwell, Tiesto, David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Luciano, M83, 2ManyDJs, Wally López, DJ Nano, JP Candela and Pete Tong. Tickets are priced at 65 euros a day/150 euros for three days and the music will run midday – 2am with after parties planned at Pacha, Amnesia, Space and Ushuaia. It will be broadcasted worldwide
and will include three concert areas, a beach area, a chill out area (Cafe Del Mar), VIP tents, hippy market and foor outlets. This is great news for Ibiza and will be the first large scale dance event since the days of MTV up in the quarry. The organisers have been very clever booking the likes of Sting and Kravitz to keep the San An residents happy and this looks a sure fire annual date on the Ibiza clubbing calender. It had to happen sooner or later didn’t it? More news as we get it…
