The world’s DJs are off and running
DMC, pioneers of the World DJ Championships for 28 years, broke the boundaries of the DJ world once again in 2011 when launching the enormously successful DMC ONLINE DJ CHAMPIONSHIP where the DJ’s filmed entries attracted an extraordinary 1.7 million views. DMC has now joined forces with leading technology platform TALENTHOUSE to host the 2012 ONLINE DJ CHAMPIONSHIP taking it to an ever expanding audience. Talenthouse, the cutting edge global platform, enables aspiring creatives to participate in life changing opportunities and for voting on submissions to take place through Facebook and Twitter by the general public. Websites hosting a widget allows their to direct traffic to their own community which, according to Talenthouse statistics, creates a 130% increase in traffic.
MIXMAG – the magazine DMC created and launched in February 1983 are one of the first major web sites to take the DMC ONLINE DJ CHAMPIONSHIPS 2012. The widget is spread around the world and delivered in 8 languages.

In the first 2 days the competition had a reach of just short of 2 million and is on target to become the most viewed DJ competition in history. After 3 heats and the Final the winner, once again judged by the public and DMC World Champion DJs, will be announced and sent their air tickets for entry into the DMC LIVE WORLD DJ CHAMPIONSHIPS in London in September. The DJs in the competition will win top of the range DJ equipment from our sponsors Rane, Serato, Denon, Pioneer and Denon totalling over $40,000 in prizes.
DMC America launched their 2012 tour in Miami last week with New York DMC Manager Christie Z announcing the biggest USA tour ever taking in Miami, San Antonio, Hartford, New Orleans, Seattle, San Fransisco, Phoenix, Washington DC, Denver, Los Angeles and New York. It’s tiiiiiiiime!
