Trainspotting with Natascha Polké

Swiss live performer/singer/songwriter/producer Natascha Polké has just dropped a powerful and entrancing cut ‘Heavens Will Fall’; the sophomore single from her three track EP ‘Into You’, out April 5th on [PIAS] Électronique.  Recently rising from the Swiss techno underground to harvest millions of Spotify streams and join the revered PIAS imprint, Zurich born, London based Natascha Polké mixes her indie/folk-pop background with techno for a refreshingly creative sound. After moving to London to pursue a music MA immersed her in the city’s sounds and electronic music, a four-year residency at The Roundhouse, releases on [PIAS], Anjunadeep, Einmusika, Stil vor Talent, This Never Happened and Gardens of Babylon, her live performances at Club Chinois Ibiza, Scorpios Mykonos, Hamburg’s Dockville and Amsterdam’s Gardens of Babylon…, with the likes of Parra for Cuva, Agoria, Tale of Us, Rampa, Christian Löffler, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Miss Monique, have made her a world name.  To celebrate the release of ‘Heavens Will Fall’, DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Natascha Polké.

Natascha Polké – Heavens Will Fall – [PIAS] Électronique

This is the second single and the sunshine track of my upcoming EP ‘Into You’. It features vibrant synth melodies and a hint of indie essence and pairs an energetic bassline with dreamy vocals, creating a captivating contrast.

RY X – All I Have – Infectious Music

I am a huge fan of RY X and I am super excited about this new release. What a moving tune, characterized by its minimalistic instrumentation and raw, heartfelt vocals. The addition of an arpeggiated, moving, bassy synth brings an extra depth to the tune.

Coiro – Falta – Blue Marble

Coiro is a fresh face in the music scene, and ‘Falta’ is a highlight from his new EP, ‘Desvendar’. I’m particularly drawn to the playful and shimmering synth work. The soundscape evokes a sense of nostalgia, reminding me of some of my favorite artists like Christian Löffler, Parra for Cuva, and Fejká.

Yamil – Giving Love to Me – MoBlack Records

Yamil, also still flying under the radar, keeps delivering one exceptional track after another. ‘Giving Love to Me’ is the perfect track for a day rave or ideal for a leisurely afternoon of wine sipping, encapsulating these sunshine vibes.

WhoMadeWho – Children (Mind Against & Dyzen Remix) – The Moment

‘Children’ is a really cool and captivating reinterpretation. The percussive synth work instantly grabs my attention, and I have a particular weakness for bells, making this track an instant favorite. It’s one of these rare tracks that is perfect for both early morning vibes and late-night listening sessions.

Natascha Polké – Poison of Choice – [PIAS] Électronique

Last but not least, this track marked the debut single from my forthcoming EP ‘Into You’. It’s a melodic journey featuring nearly spoken-word vocals, exploring the delicate balance between pleasure and destruction inherent in our favorite vices.
