Sonic Soul Orchestra (aka JP Firmin) is an English DJ / producer based in London and Los Angeles. He started his own label Interstate Records back in early 1990, along with running his own club nights, which led him to become a booking agent for NY’s DJ Disciple, Dave Camacho and legendary vocalist Michael Watford. In the 2000’s, he began directing and managing global tours for some of the world’s biggest artists including Rihanna and Drake and still does today. It was during lockdown that JP became inspired to get back into making house music and now that he’s armed with a plethora of hot new releases and classic revamps ready to go, 2023 looks set to be an exciting year! As his new single ‘Happy People’ feat. Phillip Ramirez drops on Tinted Records, DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Sonic Soul Orchestra.
