AFFKT returns with a second long player, and it is an impressive piece of work that proves both his versatility and his invention. The Valencian producer sets out his stall with the distinctive ‘Dreamback’, a really strong opener, but counters this with effective and atmospheric slower tracks such as Between Us. ‘Boira’, written with Upercent, shows a moody, breaksy edge, ‘Esclafit’ (with Piek) has great depth and the shimmering ‘San Diego’ makes a lasting dancefloor impact too. Consistently strong throughout, and highly recommended.
