Afribiza is a unique and exciting compilation featuring brand new and upcoming talents from South, West and Central Africa regions, mixed by DJ & producer DJ Stan-ley of Deep-London. It is the latest product of a unique music development program that began 14 years ago in the Western Cape of South Africa’s townships.
This compilation weaves a rich tapestry of the dynamic new sounds of 21st Century Africa from traditional Afrobeat, contemporary dance grooves and beyond. These artists include: Worldclass afrobeat pioneer Dele Sosimi who boasts a 30 year career in music; DJ Dino Moran whose career has taken him to all the major clubs in South Africa and beyond, DJ Riko aka Deep Y’all who has been DJ-ing on the international circuit for over 20 years, Gumzito, Darque, Suge Transitions, Akhomi, Abavuki, Pretoria based house DJ SK95 and London’s DJ/Producer Stan-ley who also contributes productions to the mix.
