COLETTE
HYPNOTIZED
OM

An ideal, undemanding introduction for those who think this clubbing (and post-chilling) lark might be for them. Colette’s gently honeyed tone isn’t set up as a deep house glass-breaker, but installed to stroke slow sparklers, work a Robert Palmer cover into a reputable alternative and hold court on the very 80s ‘What She Will Do For Love’ – about the only occasion where ‘Hypnotized’ doesn’t have Om’s paw-prints all over it. While it’s all a bit nice and impossibly clean-sounding for a beautiful clientele, ‘Hypnotized’ should have the desired effect should the sun ever decide to make an appearance.
