Their cover of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” seemed to come out of nowhere, wooing anyone with ears with it’s ridiculous sassy brass funk, be it in a club or at a festival. In fact, the Hot 8 have had a busy time of it since then, releasing the full length “Rock With The Hot 8”, touring Europe and the UK to sell-out shows, and completing various live sessions for the BBC. This collection of remixes includes reworks by Lack Of Afro, Diesler, Pavlov & Mishkin, Aldo Vanucci, Hint, and Unforscene, plus a re-edit of the aforementioned “Sexual Healing” by me&you.
