Popular Computer is the alias for Parisian Sylvain Dalido, and though this album has been out a little while it deserves some exposure for the sharp moves it throws as it shimmies across the dancefloor. ‘Lointain’ is especially good at this, while ‘Tokyo Sunset’ is one of the album’s more evocative tracks, with a looser feel to the funk. Shinichi Osawa, who Dalido has remixed before, guests for the well dressed ‘Just For All I Have’, while a combination of pop music sensibility and blue sky atmospherics runs through the album to give it an attractive hue. Well worth seeking out for those who like their electronic music to have a popular and catchy tint.
