There is probably no single week, legendary Baltimore resident DJ Spen & his crew don’t release a record on their imprints Quantize or Unquantize and most of them still ooze quality, which is not the easiest thing these days. Here they serve a slice of extraordinary Italian House music with a twist, by the ever reliable duo Antonello Ferrari and Aldo Bergamasco.
‘Something About Your Love’ has all the components you’ll need to jam your set and with soulful, funky house movements, just like we would expect it for an early summer tune.
Leading this jammed pack heated release is Grant Nelson’s Remix.
Whereas I haven’t been the biggest fan of Grant’s recent more commercial remixes, this one reminds me on his classic BIG moments.
His production style escalates with hype, bounce, and energy working perfectly alongside Tommie Cotton’s soulful performance. He includes a Dub that adds even more dimension to this package. Michele Chiavarini Remix is a soulful, yet pumpin masterpiece which sets every dancefloor on fire. Finally, there’s the F & B Original and Extravaganza Mixes that add even more flavour to the package!
