Italian duo BlackTwins have ensured one of the best female vocalists on this planet, Dawn Tallman for their superb track ‘Higher Heights’ forthcoming on Michele Mingo’s Groovejet label.
Already supported by CJ Mac, Hardsoul or Kenny Carpenter this is a perfect slice of no nonsense House music in the making.
Speaking of the label honcho, he delivers the key mixes on this package together with long time studio mate Andy Tee. Their Vocal & Dub mixes are characterized by skippy beats and superb, soulful synths that remind me a bit on the glorious times of US Garage.
On the remix we find fellow Italian Samuele Sartini, who beefs up the whole project with a nice peaktime version that has a killer break in it!
All in all this is very well produced House like it used to be!
