“Attack Decay Sustain Release” is Simian Mobile Disco’s outstanding album, and from it comes the irresistible “Hustler”, in no less than 8 mixes. In it’s original form “Hustler” boasts a low slung hip shaking dirty groove, with New York’s Char Johnson on vocals, strutting her stuff through an onslaught of acid licks to die for. Armand Van Helden, Kevin Saunderson, Jesse Rose & Shackleton all deliver remixes that hit the spot. Nuff said. “If I had the money I’d go to the record store…with my sticky hands…what the fuck are you gonna do”. Scouting for tunes has never been this much fun. You can catch Simian Mobile Disco on tour with The Chemical Brothers and The Klaxons over the next few weeks, where no doubt arms will remain aloft for most of the evening.
