Momu’s first album takes two quality previous singles as used by Nick Warren, Hyper and Bedrock (‘The Dive’ and ‘Sunsicle’), and fleshes these out with some moody, cinematic breaks material. The atmospheric synth tracks can become a little samey after a while, but there’s plenty of quality in the well constructed loops of ‘One’, the powerfully moody ‘See It Thru’ and a couple of edgy riffs on the unnerving ‘Antietam’ to put this forward as a record with appeal for anyone into Sasha, Digweed or Hybrid.
