Serge Santiago and Tom Neville’s superstar production joins lots of dots together from the eighties with Italo-House propelling itself, via an initial limited release from last year, bang up to date. Moda is the sort of record that you want to go out and have a good time with, which can only result in smiles across the dancefloor as its highly infectious synth hook shimmers against fabulous syncopated rhythms. Not only does it feel epic but actually is so by clocking in at a cool ten minutes of ecstatic release with breakdowns and build-ups working the intriguing arrangement to excess.
