Number two in the series to celebrate Audiojack’s Gruvv imprints five years in existence sounds like four more good reasons to party. Gorge opens with an infectious bassline driven ‘Square Wave Romance’, while the equally addictive ‘Beat on the Drums’ by Waifs & Strays pounds its way blissfully across the stereo, eventually fuelling a disco inspired fire of instruments. Julien Chaptal feat. Juliana comes next with ‘Number 4’ challenging the sequence with more probing, melodic bass providing a curious delight, leaving the hi-hat rush of Luna City Express ‘Tell Me When You Ready’ to excite airwaves still further via tripped out echoes accompanied by insistent drums.
