Not much here for the average ear to latch onto – this toddles along as it should and makes the most of the recent explosion of club and promotionally-savvy Indian music, without there being, to the casual listener, too much taking the evolution further. A handful of jams do make the cut-above grade – Panjabi MC’s hefty hip-hop punch-out ‘Jogi’, Midival Punditz’ drum & bass racer ‘Bhangra Fever’ and Intermix’s ‘Bha Phar Nee’ melting pot – but switches in tempo aside, 15 tracks more or less blur into one another throughout a secure, if restrained package.
