The big marketing push on the second Toolroom Knights compilation is a new Gabriel & Dresden mix of The Killers’ ‘Read My Mind’, which proves the focal point of the upfront second CD. Leading up to this are the excellent Dubfire ‘Roadkill’ track and Etienne De Crecy’s remix of Eyerer & Namito’s ‘Quipa’, while the mix closes well with Mark Knight & Dave Spoon and Apparat. CD1 uses Claude Von Stroke; again; but that’s a forgivable crime when the other tracks include Stephan Bodzin’s ‘Fahrenheit’, Josh Gabriel’s ‘Crosstalk’ and Hot Chip’s excellent remix of Junior Boys’ ‘In The Morning’. A very solid sequel.
