A new series from Kitsune that looks set to be a big hit – at least if the inaugural episode from Digitalism is anything to go by. They steam through an impressive 25 tracks in the course of this mix, a restless energy from start to finish as they take 80s grooves, French influences and raw house and run with them. It’s a well-structured mix, funky at the outset with Zongamin and Holy Ghost, throwing in the Human League’s ‘The Things That Dreams Are Made Of’ for good measure. Then comes the massive Midnight Juggernauts’ ‘Ending Of An Era’, where the mix turns, getting more electro-based with Calvin Harris, The Presets and Hot Chip. A hugely entertaining party set.
