Toolroom Knights are fast becoming key players in the house compilation market, and the latest in their series sees label head Mark Knight step up to the decks. Knight’s set kicks off with some Ibiza warmth, the hazy deep house of tracks from the likes of Jerome Sydenham & Tiger Stripes, Nic Fanciulli and Nagano Kitchen casting something of a spell before finishing strongly with Underworld’s ‘Beautiful Burnout’. CD2 picks up more of a Ministry vibe, with D Ramirez, Steve Mac and Knight himself in the action – and though it’s upfront stuff, and fulfils its function, the first disc is where the quality truly lies.
