Nic Fanciulli already had a strong reputation as one of the bright lights
of house DJing at the moment, but this second mix secures his place right
at the top of the Renaissance roster. Several moments on his powerful
second set will cause sharp intakes of breath as the beats lift for a short
while and then drop with real force. By way of an extended warm-up
Fanciulli blends an effective first disc of night time house, starring H
Foundation and King Britt, Colette and James Talk. This is far superior to
Fanciulli’s previous outing on the label, a tad more commercial perhaps,
but expertly delivered.
