Yousef himself isn’t quite sure if this is an EP or an album, but at eight original tracks and an hour’s length it seems like the latter. As the title suggests, it’s a cowritten affair, each track featuring a different ‘friend’. Minimal tech house seems to be the order of the dat, and it’s all extremely danceable stuff, whether it be the funky bass that underpins ‘Do Me’, a track written with Paul Woolford, or the jacking groove that Gene Farris brings to ‘Da Number 8’, the pick of the selection. With friends like these, who needs enemies?!
