Jaunty like a sugar-rush induced headache is the only way to describe the original mix. Everything is way over in the red, mixwise, Sasha Perera’s vox shouting for room over bouncing synths and agressive drums, and chances are people will pogo to it like there’s no Monday morning in sight. For those who like a bit more subtlety, check the Spliff Remake by Jay Haze & Argenis Brito aka Dank. Turned into pure trackhead heaven, it still has the electro bounce, but dresses it in acid house sensibilities for a fucked up dark ‘n’ dripping warehouse vibe. Excellent.
