Victoria, Lucy, Marie & Damien are Dead Disco, a Leeds outfit with a love for electro indie pop. ‘The Treatment’ is their debut release on Manchesterâs High Voltage Sounds, all speed riffing, catchy hooks & big ‘Whoa oh oh oh woah’ sing-a-long choruses, to say it’s making a rather large impact is a bit of an understatement. The strange but irresistible Metronomy supplies the remix on the flip, stripping ‘The Treatment’ back, ditching the drummer & bringing in his trademark cheap drum machine, along with cute weedy synths. The major label cheque books are probably already waving in Dead Disco’s direction.
