“Vasterize” works hard, thumping beats under a rave-ish stab (not unlike “Poing”) that keeps building, building, then dropping back, but mostly it’s the intensity of the rhythm that keeps the momentum. “Electrified” utilises a more clipped drum sound with the title repeated title electronically treated as the rhythm skips, stutters, breaks and picks up again. Two sides of electro-funk with a 90’s club mentality.
