DJ Naughty was spotted on the FUN comp last year and is back in the limelight with not one but two crucial cuts. His latin New Order groover ‘Rojo Caliente’ has been doing it for months and is now out, sexy and hypnotic this is ideal to get things started. What’s more it’s on Eskimo, one of the freshest labels around (120 BPM). On Savas Pascalidis’ last single (his new LP ‘Disko Vietnam’ on Gigolo is worth tracking down), the same Naughty re-edits ‘Superman’, one of the highlights of the previous album. Chopped up to great effects, this is like sleazy Berlin’s answer to Todd Terry (129).
