‘Disco Wreck’ is a dirty slab of punk funk that comes with a Headman remix. However if you flip this 12” over you’ll find the startling ‘Hey There’, with its irresistible fuzzy electro glam beats, complete with handclaps, and a star in the making vocal to die for. Imagine Marc Bolan, The Glitter Band and The Human League getting together, and you’re sort of heading in the right direction. What this is doing tucked away on the B-side is criminal. ‘Hey There’ is a belter of a tune and sounds like nothing else around.
