After all the unnecessary media hype that surrounded their various record company deals Fischerspooner have kept rather quiet (apart from a cheeky remix of The Pink Panther’s Theme not long ago). However the infamous NY duo is about to make headlines again with a soon to be released brilliant second album (‘Odyssey’) and who better to remix its first excerpt than remixer extraordinaire Jacques Lu Cont under his Thin White Duke guise? Once again the Reading genius has done wonders and delivered an amazing rework that’s actually catchier than the original (as he did on Starsailor’s ‘Four To The Floor’, a huge hit in Europe). Call it electro-trance or else, ‘Just Let Go’ is now an epic bomb complete with Lu Cont’s trademark live bass riffs and superb high and lows. Destined to become one of the year’s anthem, no less.
