Today’s vast electronic production has got something to propose to all the different kind of obsessives out there. Having made a name for herself a few years back with some releases on Mo Wax, Andrea Parker has recently launched Touchin’ Bass, an imprint that merely focus on minimal drum machine beats (TR 808 if possible please) and hardly much else. For the label’s tenth release, Hydraulix aka Richard Zarate and James Merlo drop four tracks of dark Miami flavoured electro beats peppered by vocoders, menacing pads and eerie Kraftwerk noises.
