Ipunx are two well known DJ’s / producers that are keeping it schtummsey for obvious reasons, the main being that they’ve created 3 top party mash ups on this EP. The first ‘2 Hives Crew’ features the exhilarating main riff from The Hives ‘Hate To Say I Told You So’, with a modern day Kinks vocal over slammin‚ beats. The second ‘My Sheroxa’ beefs up The Knack’s ‘My Sherona’, mixes in a touch of The Police‚s ‘Roxanne’, then tops it off with Lindy Layton‚s vocals care of Beats International’s ‘Dub Be Good To Me’. While the third ‘Daft Boys’ lays the Beastie Boys ‘Intergalactic’ over Daft Punk‚s ‘Robot Rock’ to simple but stunning effect. Along side 2 Many DJ’s and The Freelance Hellraiser, iPunx is definitely where the party’s at. It’s time to let your hair down, get drunk and jump about.
