The growing disappearance of the human element in electronic dance music takes another step forward as Germany’s Klaas – of ‘Get Twisted’ fame – hooks up with London newcomer I Am Finn via MySpace and creates this tune online without exchanging a word, let alone meeting. The result is a beefy electro riff spiked with a strident indie-bloke vocal hook which is then put through the digital wringer. More exciting is the remix by Modular Records’ Van She quartet, who add a lolloping tech-hump groove and mercilessly fuck with the vocal to great effect.
