The fourth release on Soma’s new offshoot for more out there excursions follows the impossibly high standard already set by Van Dowski/Quenum, Dan Curtin and Scape One with a guy called Let’s Go Outside from Portland, Oregon, whose already released on Brighton’s Midnight Recordings. ‘I’ll Lick Your Spine’ is skeletal, dark and sexy as hell with Christina Broussard’s breathy vocals recalling Bunnymad69’s horny burrowings a few years back on God Made Me Hardcore. If that wasn’t enough the remix comes from the mighty Repeat Repeat, who impregnate with their roughshod techno brilliance incorporating a tempo increase and resonant dissonance giving a luminous back alley setting for this veritable knee trembler of a tune.
