A player on the London underground house scene for well over a decade (Classic Recordings, his band Freaks with Justin Harris), Luke Solomon is now landing on Crosstown Rebels for an EP. Main attraction has to be ‘A Long Time Darkly’, a chuggy hypnotic groover that cheekily samples George Krantz’s eighties club hit ‘Din Da Da’. On the flip the repetitive ‘Search & Destroy’ takes you to a darkish alley.
