It’s always a refreshing experience putting on a new Napt release for the first time, and that rule still applies here. ‘N-Funk’ has one great big fuzzy, bendy, monster of an un-harmonic bastard bass line wrapping itself all around this filthy little quirk-meister. An array of tweaked synth shenanigans intertwines with infectious insectoids all mercilessly trying to sneak their way past the boundaries of acceptable sound regulations! ‘It’s Over’ is like a flamboyant electro disco soul diva prancing up and down on the dancefloor, occasionally tossing her leather-feather boa over her shoulder with rubbery abandon! Anyway, to sum up, (in case you don’t know what we’re talking about!); it’s a jolly good release and shows a desire to not follow the norm..which is a very good thing!
