Those German spiritual brothers have long proved they’re jack of all trades with unbeatable humour and able to come up with just about anything (electropop, rock, classical, songs…). This is why their Tracks From The Lab 12″s – strictly aimed at DJs – ultimately feel a bit limiting. Saying this, A side ‘SID’, which puts the sounds of Detroit, Antwerp and Berlin in the blender, offers hooky after-hours material that should do well in the current minimal/druggy climate.
