You should by now be aware of Fine records, the British-German axis by which Mocky, Tiefschwarz and others release their music in this country. Mr Negative is one of the up and coming acts completing the roster, a trio that looks set to big things if they play their cards right. Their Ibiza re-edit of ‘Evacuate’ is an impressive slice of bleepy electro that’s driving and uplifting at the same time (e’d up italo-disco?). Cow bell, sirens and fat bassline build a captivating track that doesn’t let go until well after the late explosion of James Bond horns and pulsating dreamy sequences (124 BPM).
