Second singleoff the ‘Talk To The Machine’ album sees Gomma honchos Munk give Tania Gallagher and Bart Demey a big, nasty electro-bed for their punky vocals to bounce and shout from. Live bass, grungy riffs and bleeps add to the obvious aim to make some noise. The flip’s Manic Twin Dub harks back to the original album version, where it’s called ‘What You Want/What You Get’ and appears to be a Public Image cover. This is more in an early 80s NewYork boogie mode with warped atmospherics and the vocals recalling Bobby Gillespie’s way of dispelling punk attitude. Indeed boogie with sleazy leanings.
