Bay Area native Daniel Saxon has a fascination for seventies/early eighties Californian prog-pop. Back then punks would crucify you for liking that stuff. Today these slick grooves merging rich harmonies, funky licks and gimmicky synths are kinda cool, purely because they take you back to an era where music wasn’t all quantized by computers.
