Originally out last year, Product 01’s cover of Blondie’s classic is now coming back on Germany’s Compost with an array of remixes split onto two 12”s. The ever busy Tommie Sunshine rough things up in his usual fashion (acid tweaks and rave stabs 128 BPM) whilst Lopazz do their sparse (yet dislocated) thang (116). However the best interpretation of the lot has to come from Justus Köhncke. On top form these days Kompakt’s most talented artist/producer has re-injected some lovely minimal disco juice into it (114). The electro-breaks original with its alternative/industrial flavour still stands proud (116).
