The track that started all this acid-house malarkey – well in the global charts anyway – is making a welcome return. ‘Theme From S’Express’, its timeless pack of samples and killer arrangement, hasn’t aged a touch and still gets played in fun clubs. However remixed by the likes of Punx Soundcheck, Kingroc and Simon Acetone, it becomes evident that Mark Moore’s eternal party anthem was crying out for respectful electro adaptations.
